Techniques are the powers and abilities that characters learn as they advance. A character starts with three Techniques, but it is important to remember that many techniques have special requirements such as high attributes or even other techniques.
A player automatically starts with three techniques, in addition to light weapon weilder. A player character learns one new technique every level. Attributes and techniques listed in parathesis are the requirements necessary before the character can learn the technique.
Light Weapon Weilder: (Automatic) All new characters start with the ability to fight unarmed, with short blades, throwing weapons, staffs, and slingshots.
Blade Weilder: (Vigor 4) The character gains the ability to use long blades and two-handed great blades.
Toss: (Vigor 5) The character gains the ability to lift an enemy into the air when making a strong attack with a two handed weapon.
Charge: (Vigor 4) The character can charge up a strong attack and release it with a powerful thrust.
Pistol Weilder: (Agility 3) The character gains the ability to use one handed fire-arms.
Rifle Weilder: (Agility 3, Pistol Weilder) The character gains the ability to use two handed fire-arms.
Akimbo: (Agility 5) The character gains the ability to weild two short blades or two pistols at once.
