Dwarves are, in theory, a short, stout, bearded people who live in caves, mountains, and plains. Theory is the only example, however, as there has never been a New Washington census report including these creatures.
Legend portrays dwarves as creatures with dispositions for hard work and digging. Elves who have been around for a while recall having somewhat of a feud with the creatures, but cannot remember well enough to know even whether dwarves actually exist.
