Pax Washingtonia

While gripping and extraordinary, the events of the 22nd and 23rd centuries make up only the first half of the Age of Corporations. What is started (or catalyzed according to some) by The PicoGen/ViaCode War results in a period of relative global stability that lasts nearly three hundred years. In this time the world is reunited with itself as central governments and the largest of corporations pool their might to bring the races together.

For some, it is a golden age. A period where the shining light of the world's most legendary city leads everyone and everything into a World of Tomorrow.

For others, it is a “last long wave” of conservative dominance where the Powers That Be consolidate in a way not seen since the pre-Snowfall 20th century.

And for a broken few it is the Darkest Hour. The heartbreaking time of hitting rock bottom and having to figure out how to get back up.

These three perspectives are captured in the following short excerpts:

Official History - A chapter overview from a Secondary School textbook

Objective History - An independet historian's perspective

Secret History - Leaflets from the new underground
