Wonky lookin' Lydia

Anywho, this is a, er, concept doodle of Lydia (she's a degu). She's been in my head for quite some time, I just hadn't been able to settle on a species until recently. Houdini and Mairelon are so funny, and they fit Lydia's personality quite well. I don't like her face, though - the eyes are good, the back part of her hair is okay, but her bangs and her head are all wonky. =\ I'll hafta do a whole bunch of doodles of her till I get her right. I don't think her ears are the right shape, either. I was at Barnes and Noble, so degus weren't readily available for study (and I was too lazy to get up and find a book). I lurve her tail - ish spiffy! *loves* =^___^= I think she looks a wee bit too mouseish here - she needs to look more deguish/squirrelish. Hrmmm.. the wonkyness is bugging meeeeeeeeee. @_o;
