You must set a signoff name before you can edit the Wiki. This name will appear in the Recent Changes log next to any edit you make. As with everything on the Wiki, this is on the honor system; either set it to your own real name or a handle (Handles are okay).
The signature is not a password, and you can set it to anything you like-- a word, a phrase, a name, anything. It will not appear in the Recent Changes log, but it will be stored on the server along with any change you make. In case someone makes changes to the Wiki using your name, your signature word can be used to verify which changes were actually yours.
