Orpheus Manifestation Forms

The following are abridged Manifestation Forms for each relevant Shade. Text between () indicates changes to description when character's Spite rating begins to exceed her Vitality rating. Duration for Manifesting lasts one scene. Also, a character may start with a 0 or 1 Vitality Manifestation and at any time spend more Vitality to increase the potency of it.

0 Vitality: No mechanical effects, unless noted.
1 Vitality: Half all die-pools, rounded down.
2 Vitality: No further mechanical effects, unless noted.

Banshee
0 Vitality: Spook may whisper to the living in a soft (deep) voice.
1 Vitality: Appear as a ghost of flowing (tattered) gauze, as if moving through water.
2 Vitality: Appear fully human though floaty and light as if in water.

Haunter
0 Vitality: Spook appears as a reflection (face masked by shadows and blackened eye sockets).
1 Vitality: Appears wet and mucous, with a caul clinging to his face (bulging and moving as though darkened tendrils lie beneath) obscuring his features.
2 Vitality: Appears normal, though anemic or jaundiced.

Phantasm
0 Vitality: Appear as a (dripping) shadow with nothing to cast it and whisper (hiss) short sentences.
1 Vitality: Humanoid, transluscent (dripping) three-dimensional shadow, voice hollow and with an echoing quality.
2 Vitality: Appears completely human. (merging with deep shadows, voice still hollow)

Poltergeist
0 Vitality: Move physical objects with 1 dot in strength and dexterity while written (bleeding) words appear on surface.
1 Vitality: form a (swirling) body from nearby objects with halved rolls. Roll Willpower (difficulty 7) to maintain Manifestation if body is damaged.
2 Vitality: intesne (homicidal) and energetic human appearance.

Skinrider
0 Vitality: Manifests only by puppetting the living. With a touch, the spook can make the host speak or move at a rate of 1 action/turn and 1 Strength and 1 Dexterity. (Host appears stereotypically possessed, with white eyes, otherworldly voice, etc.)
1 Vitality: Appears as a humanoid form of fog, cobwebs, and silver (black and oily) threads.
2 Vitality: Fully human appearance, but with very thin and brittle skin, veins and arteries more visible.

Wisp
0 Vitality: Appears as a floating ball of white or yellow (red or violet) light. Wisp is completely mute, but can slightly affect physical objects, such as flicking a light switch or fogging a window.
1 Vitality: Manifests as a blurry rendition of himself, features slurred together (darker in form, like an old, black and white photograph).
2 Vitality: Indistinguishable from human, albeit slightly glowing, lightly graceful, and with a smile.
