Here it is, Walking Backwards strip two. The plot thickens.
Ugh. I did a terrible job on the inking, though. I thought this strip was pretty messy and bad, and I need to get some Sakura Microns so I can do a decent job on this stuff. Still, it's there... and I'm happy about that.
Few, though-- first, one of the things about Liesel that I wanted to include (and not just because I'm obsessed) is that one of the things that alienated her in middle school was that her breasts developed really early and fully for somebody her size, and she got fun poked at her for it. Her body type is that she's not too thin (I think I caught that well with her profile here) and that she's short (again, I think I got it) and that she's got fairly substantial breasts. That's a problem. I don't want to draw them anime-unrealistically -- I'm not gonna play that game -- but I do want to make the distinction.
Maybe I am just obsessed. Ay me.
Also, Liesel's supposed to be pretty strong for her size. I think that's fairly clear from the part where she's holding Liss and Nathan at bay at the same time.
Oogh, I only just realized that I messed up the character perspective of Nathan's leaning against the door and Liss's pushing. Oh well. ~Dog

I forgot to mention -- anybody notice the synchronization in Liss and Nathan's expressions in panels two and three? I gotta say I'm proud of that. ~~Dog
