<tr><td colspan=3>Synecdoche (pronounced sin-eck-doe-key and called “Doki-chan” by her friends) is a diminutive, unorthodox girl and prefers to have her appearance reflect that. She has short hair that is a bizarre tone of red but appears to be naturally so, and lime-green eyes that look as though they are probably affected by color contacts (but aren't).

<tr><td colspan=4>Synecdoche is a 'warrior-type' character, as is often the case with my small female characters. She is silly but blunt, and I found upon roleplaying her that she seemed to be a wise mentor-type figure to the characters she was playing with. I sense that should would be an amazing NPC for a romance plotline. When in combat, Synecdoche wields a giant fish that she pulls from malletspace and is quite effective with it. I also had an idea for a peculiar type of literary magic deriving from her namesake, but I didn't get that far.

<tr><td colspan=4>Synecdoche was created as a character for the online anime roleplaying forum <a href="http://go-gaia.com/">Gaia</a>, and started the brilliant <a href="http://go-gaia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1532409&highlight=">Aqua Vitae Undersea Coffeehouse</a>, an RP environment that ended up being tragically unsuccessful.
<tr><td colspan=3><b>Why I Want to Bring Her Back:</b>
<tr><td colspan=4>The Aqua Vitae was intended to be an “RP Hangout” sort of environment, with a relaxed atmosphere and a silly, light plot. Also, the idea of an undersea coffeehouse appealed to me intensely and still does. There is a sense of absurd style about having an espresso shop located in the converted lair of a supervillain, but there's also a strange elegance. When you think about it, a bubble under the sea would be an amazing place to sip coffee and listen to Jazz. Don't you think?
<tr><td colspan=3><b>Where and how?</b>
<tr><td colspan=4>With Doki must come the Aqua Vitae. This could work in the <a href="http://flouri.shyou.org">Flouri Wiki</a>, but not that well-- I want the Aqua Vitae to be an environment, not a setting for a story. The story should have a casual feel. The <a href="http://go-gaia.com">Gaia</a> RP template was good for this, but has become FAR too crowded to be able to attract clientele. <a href="http://gmail.google.com">Gmail</a> would make a pretty decent environment to play in the AV, but unfortunately growth and clientele introduction would be very difficult and slow. A chatroom would, frankly, be the best environment, but I know little about building, managing or advertising one. For now, Synecdoche and the Aqua Vitae sit on Gaia and wait for a better chance.
