Sketch
A man stands 3/4, his right side to us, left arm out with thumb up in painter's pose. Squints through left eye. Right hand rests on table beside him, fingers bridged. Table has pencils, erasers, and paper. Man: weight on right leg, left foot points toward hand. Clothing: baggy jeans, t-shirt (untucked), bandana, sneakers.
Notes:
- I really need to brush up on my proportions. I've forgotten everything I ever learned.
- Note distribution of weight. He must be able to stand.
- Arms and legs should be larger. Feet aren't that small!
- Wow. I don't think I'll really bother with the hands.
Analysis:
Not terrible for a first effort. No detail, but I think I'll want to start larger if I try to work in any at first. I should practice individual parts (hands, feet, face, etc) in depth until I'm comfortable with them.

Comments:
Maybe, use models for your individual parts study. Hold up your left hand in a set pose, and draw it with your right, for example. You can note shading and proportions this way, get more comfortable with the shapes, that sort of thing. ~Senna
The one on the 16th is rather unbalanced in main. Your character is well constructed (better than I could do) but seems a little flat, especially as you look at the perspective angle of the foot facing us. I think the hand kerchief was a bad choice because it will come out flat until you learn a way to fill it more, there is hair under there. -- M Fox
